About the project..
Jokake acquired this 29,178 sf building sited on 4.27 acres in 2022. The property is strategically located off I-25 in Mead, Colorado, which is halfway between Denver and Fort Collins, off State Highway 87. Sunstate Equipment is the NNN tenant.

Freshly
About the project..
Jokake acquired the single-tenant net-leased cold storage distribution building in 2018 for 6,500,000. The building totals 58,000 sf and provided the mission critical location for Freshly’s Phoenix operations. Freshly produced and distributed all of their food products for the Western United States from this location. Jokake sold the property a year later for 8,700,000

Superior Industrial Park
About the project..
The Superior Industrial Park, located in Superior, Arizona, is a build to suit project developed by Jokake Companies for Superior Marble. The total site is just over 32 acres, and the 40,0000 square foot Superior Marble building occupies 10 acres. (The balance of the 22 acres was sold to OMYA who constructed a 79,000 sf industrial building and 39,000 sf warehouse.) The steel building was constructed as the processing plant for the calcium carbonate products processed and packaged at the site. The plant ceased operations in 2012 and was sold to Rio Tinto Mining company in 2014.

Goodyear Financial Center
About the project..
This 46,000 sf commercial office property, located in Goodyear Az was acquired in 2018 for $4,850,000 as a value add asset. Over the next 4 years, occupancy increased from 62% to 82%. Much of the deferred maintenance was addressed and the property marketed and sold in October 2022 for $9,400,000.

Historic Farmers & Stockman's Bank Redevelopment
About the project..
Preservation and redevelopment for the Jokake team continued in 2013 with The Farmers and Stockmen’s Bank adjacent to the Stockyards redevelopment on the site of the Tovrea Land and Cattle Company. The bank was built to service the thriving cattle industry located next door. Built in the early 1950’s, this building was designed by architect William Pereria. The remodeled building received historic designation by the city of Phoenix Office of Historic Preservation and redevelopment of the site included subdivision of an additional lot zoned for commercial office development. The Jokake Real Estate Services team continues to provide Asset and Property Management services including leasing and sales.

Historic Stockyards Office Redevelopment
About the project..
The redevelopment of the historic Stockyards site in Phoenix began in 2003 with the acquisition of the last seven acres of the original 200-acre feed lot owned by Tovrea Land and Cattle Company. The Jokake team restored the original Exchange Building including the Stockyards Steakhouse and the property was granted Historic status by the City of Phoenix Office of Historic Preservation. The balance of the site includes the addition of 80,000 square feet of new commercial office and industrial office condominiums. The Jokake Real Estate Services team continues to provide Asset Management services to the property including property management and association oversight, leasing, and sales.

Franklin 643

About the project..
Jokake acquired 642 lots in Florence Arizona in 2016. The preliminary engineering had been started but needed to be updated and completed. Jokake completed that work only to be caught in the Pinal County water crisis, effectively stopping land sales to homebuilders. 159 lots received water allocations and have been sold while the remaining 483 lots continue to await water allocation from the water company.

Silver King Ranch
About the project..
Jokake acquired the 173-acre Silver King Ranch property in 2021. Engineering studies and site planning support up to 120 custom lots or five +/- 30-acre parcels. Jokake has completed a well on the property, perfected access, completed geotechnical studies, a survey, preliminary planning, and civil engineering.

Copper Butte
About the project..
Jokake acquired the 17-acre Copper Butte property in 2023. The site is zoned for multi-family residential. Engineering studies and site planning support up to 300 units or 150 RV lots. Jokake has completed a geotechnical study, a survey preliminary planning and civil engineering.

Paloma Ranch

About the project..
This nearly 93,000 acre ranch, located in Maricopa County, Arizona, consisted of 43,000 acres of cropland, 5000 acres of drip irrigation, 92 irrigation wells, 300 miles of ditches and canals, a cotton gin, grain facility, housing for 200, and a 5300’ private landing strip. Jokake Real Estate Services provided land and ranch management services. When the owners decided to sell, Jokake handled entire the disposition process from sale through closing. Land sales included Merrill Paloma Ranch, APS Solar, Cotton Center Solar, and Paloma Solar projects. In order to facilitate the sale of multiple farm parcels, Jokake was instrumental in creating the Paloma Irrigation and Drainage District to allow the Gillespie Canal to continue to serve the Valley ranches.
